The Security Service, together with the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and the law enforcement agencies of the Republic, Poland conducted a multidisciplinary international special operation in the EU.

For the first time since the beginning of a full -fledged invasion of SBU, a Russian agent who worked against our country in the information sphere was transferred to Ukraine.

Initially, he was detained in Poland, and now he is in one of the Kyiv support center.

The person participating in the case is a “political expert” from the media pool of the suspect in the state treason Viktor Medvedchuk.

According to the case, the attacker was recruited and worked simultaneously on two special services of the country of the aggressor: FSB and foreign intelligence of the Russian Federation. In the instructions of the invaders, he was engaged in the discrediting of Ukraine in the international arena and worked on weakening the internal situation in the countries of the partners of our country.

In 2022, he went to Russia, where he later became one of the key ideologists of the Kremlin media projects “Second Ukraine” and “Voice of Europe”).

The attacker was also one of the frequent guests of Vladimir Solovov Tokshaw. Only during 2023 he participated 35 times in the live broadcasts of the Kremlin propagandist, where he justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and distributed fakes about the situation in Ukraine.

In addition, he organized street actions in the EU in the interests of the Kremlin, where he called for a reduction in international support of Ukraine.

Another important area of the subversive activity of the participating person was a public call for the preparation of user terrorist attacks in Ukraine.

For this, the pseudopolitologist used his telegram channel, which regularly “repost” of the chat -bots of Russian special services that collect intelligence in the forces of defense.

Based on the evidence collected, the security service informed the detainee of suspicion in the framework of the 3rd part of Art. 436–2 and part 6 art. 111–1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, legal recognition, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the glorification of its participants and joint activities).

    The investigation is currently ongoing.
