Pete Highset described China’s potential invasion of Taiwan and avoiding the island’s seizure as a script that should be a priority compared to other threats.

The Secretary of the Pit Highset Secretary described China as a “ongoing threat” in a secret strategic defense document. The Washington Post reported it.

The document outside the nine -page sets President Donald Trump’s concept to prepare for a potential war in China and defend the United States from “near overseas” threats. In the context of the last point, Greenland and the Panama Canal are mentioned, which the Americans want.

Hegset described China’s potential invasion of Taiwan and avoiding the island’s seizure as a script that should be a priority compared to other threats. Accordingly, the Pentagon plans to strengthen military presence in the Indo-Pacific region, which increases the number of submarines, firefighters, no ships, special army units and Marine Corps. The United States will also bring up the strengthening of its troop defense, creating stocks for initial placement and improvement of logistics.

In addition, the Pentagon will be able to focus on anti -interrorism operations against groups with the opportunity and desire to strike in the United States. At the same time, Washington will place allies in Europe, in the Middle East and East Asia, so that they can spend more defense funds and play the key role in containing threats from Russia, North Korea and Iran.

The publication draws attention to the fact that the administration of the 46th President Joe Biden has also called China the main enemy of the United States and prepares for a conflict in the Pacific region. In addition, however, special attention to the National Defense Strategy of 2022 was paid to alliances to prevent Russian aggression.

The document also indicates the military to provide access to the Panama canal and play a more active role in combating drug trafficking, illegal migrants, border protection and eviction. In addition, the document has a clause in the expansion of nuclear forces and the US missile defense.

Both the Republican and Democrats are called the document that is confusing, the assistant told one of the congressmen. He explained that there is a contradiction between “We want American power and military rule over the world, and we want to be anywhere, but nothing.”

Earlier, Hegset ordered to stop the offensive attack on the cyber against the Russian Federation, which probably indicated Trump’s attempts to establish a communication with the Kremlin.
