Jay Dee Vincent has made it clear that the United States is ready to develop cooperation with Independent Greenland in the field of security and economy.
The United States will “respect the sovereignty” of independent Greenland and will not use military force to obtain the largest island in the world. US vice-president Jay Dee Vincent said during a visit to Greenland, the AXIOS portal said the day before.
In his opinion, Denmark failed to ensure the security of the island, and President Donald Trump was ready to make Greenland safer and economical.
“Our message of Denmark is very simple: you are not working well with the people of Greenland. You are not invested enough in the people of Greenland and you have not invested enough in the security architecture of incredible, good, good island that is inhabited by unbelievable people,” Vincent said in his visit to the space of Piuficland’s Piuufic space in Greenland.
Vice President noted that Washington would “respect the sovereignty of” independent Greenland, would not use military force to obtain it, but his armed forces could be used to protect against aggression from Russia or China.
AXIOS journalists believe that the future, which may have offered their own, is not related to the ownership of the United States, but there is independent Greenland based on cooperation with the United States in the field of security and economy.
At the same time, the portal draws attention to the fact that these Vincent statements contradict Donald Trump’s last statements.
Prior to Vincent’s journey to Greenland, the President of the United States reiterated his argument “We need Greenland.” According to Trump, this is “a question of peace for the whole world.”
Putin appreciates Trump’s plans to “attach” Greenland to the United States
