China can join the peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
Beijing is considering participating in the peacekeeping forces in Ukraine. Representatives of the PRC turned to the European Union to whether European partners support such an initiative. And in Brussels, they are approving about such an initiative. This was reported by Welt.
European diplomats believe that China’s desire to join the peacekeeping mission will be a factor that will help the Russian Federation to consider its attitude towards peacekeepers in Ukrainian territory. But the EU emphasizes that this step remains “delicate” and needs a thorough approach.
The idea of a peacekeeping mission supported by the United Kingdom remains the subject of strict discussions, since Russia categorically rejects such proposals.
We recall that on March 4 it became known that Australia is considering the possibility of a business trip to Ukraine. Subsequently, the embassy of the Russian Federation in Australia said that Moscow repeatedly made it clear that the foreign military presence in Ukraine is “absolutely unacceptable.” And Australia threatened “serious consequences.”
