Estonia was declared military assistance to Ukraine.
The Estonian government will acquire military equipment and equipment worth 100 million euros for the Armed Forces. The new package will include drones and unmanned ground vehicles, water vessels, medical equipment and supplies from Estonian defensive enterprises. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Estonia.
According to the Minister of Defense of Estonia Hanno Petus, who in 2025 and 2026 Tallinn will support Kyiv, distributing 0.25% of GDP per year for products of the Estonian defense industry. The main part of Estonia’s military assistance will be invested in measures that will allow Estonian enterprises to contribute to the victory of Ukraine.
Ukraine will also receive direct military assistance from Estonia, train the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces and, together with Luxembourg, will lead the IT collection to help Ukraine.
Recall that recently the German government agreed to allocate another three billion euros for military assistance to Ukraine in 2025. For the period from 2026 to 2029, it is planned to approve the obligation to military assistance to Kyiv in the amount of 8.252 billion euros, which as a result will be more than 11 billion euros.
