Czech President Peter Paul arrived in Ukraine. In particular, he visited Odessa, who at that time was subjected to a large -scale Russian attack.
This was announced today, March 21, in the morning in his telegram, the deputy prime minister of the Restoration of the Ukrainian Community and Development of Territories Alexei Kuleb.
They met in the city of clothing, which Russia terrorizes every night. It was during our meeting that the Russian Federation launched three groups of Chemed in the city. The whole civilized world should see Russia’s crimes against Ukraine, ”said Kuleba.
According to Kuleba, during the conversation the parties discussed key issues of navigation safety, restoration of Ukraine and the development of the community.
The Czech Republic is one of the leaders among countries that systematically help Ukraine. Over the three years of the Great War, the partner country provided $ 900 million to Ukraine from humanitarian programs for military equipment. In particular, the anti-core complexes of Neptune, made on the basis of Czech Tatra Cars, made a great contribution to our safety at the sea, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Kuleba noted that the focus of the conversation was sea safety, and the problems of reducing territories.
“Since the summer of 2023, Russia has produced more than 450 missiles on the port infrastructure of Ukraine, but today we remain a guarantor of world security. From the beginning of the Ukrainian corridor, our ports have transported 110 million tons of cargo, ”he said.
Deputy Prime Minister noted that the Czech Republic remains a reliable partner in the restoration of Ukrainian communities and regions. In particular:
- The Czech Republic took patronage over the region of Dnipropetrovsk, where it updates water purification stations, deliveries, generators, medical equipment and evacuation buses,
- restores schools and hospitals;
- In the Kyiv region, a large -scale project for the modernization of a regional children’s hospital for more than 10 million euros was implemented;
- Dozens of projects are implemented in the regions Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson and LVIV.
Kuleba noted that during the meeting they agreed to expand humanitarian assistance to the injured regions, including providing temporary housing for those who have lost their homes and support for medical institutions. The Czech Republic was also invited to join the conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine, which will be held in Rome this summer.
