Pope urged to pray for peace in Ukraine

Pope Francis encouraged believers to continue to pray for the nations suffering from the war, including Ukraine. Vatican News reported this Sunday, March 16.

“And then we pray for the world, especially in the countries that suffer from the war: in the martyr of Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Myanmar, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo,” Pontiff called Pontiff.

It was mentioned that this was the fifth week Pope Francis spent in the hospital, so the text of his thoughts was published by the Holy See’s press service.

“I shared with you these thoughts at a time when I was experiencing the test period, connecting many sick brothers: as weak at the moment, like me,” Pope wrote.
