In Baltic, a cable between Finland and Germany is fixed

C-Lion1 underwater telecommunication cable, which connects to Finland and Germany, is restored after recent injuries. This was reported by the Finnish state company Cinia, YLE report on Friday, March 14th.

The accident occurred on the night of January 26. The damage was localized to the Water in Swedish between the island of Gotland and the Latvian ventspils. In the same area, the cable that connects to Sweden and Latvia is also damaged.

According to Cinia, the detected separation defect is insignificant, and the connection operates as usual. The plan is completed according to the plan.

Note that last year they also damaged the underwater cable between Finland and Germany, as a result of which telecommunication relations between countries interrupted.

In addition, in Baltic, an underwater fiber -Fiber cable of the Latvian State Center of Radio and Television suffered.
