Russian Jan Petrovsky (Voislav Tordden) received a life sentence in Finland.
Helsinki District Court released a citizen of the aggressor to commit four war crimes. According to the case, he participates in the murder of 22 Ukrainian military and serious injuries of four more soldiers of the Armed Forces in the fall of 2014 in the Lugansk region. Then the attacker was photographed against the backdrop of the bodies of the dead and tortured troops of Ukraine. This was reported in the press center SBU.
At that time, the occupied was part of the sabotage and reconnaissance group “Rusich” of the 2nd Army Corps of the Southern Military District of Russia. He, as a deputy commander of this group, fought the forces of the ATO.
The invaders were detained at Helsinki Airport on July 20, 2023. In addition, the National Bureau of Investigations of Finland, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, began a joint investigation of Petrovsky’s war crimes.
