Ukraine will also receive artillery radars Arthur, thanks to which hundreds of Russian technology units have been destroyed first.
Sweden announced a new military assistance package in Ukraine, which would include artillery and radar systems. This was announced by the Sweden Paul Johnson Defense Minister on Social Network X on Thursday, March 13.
“Today, Sweden can represent an artillery kit worth about $ 300 million in Ukraine as part of the 18 package. Sweden will buy and provide the Ukraine 18 additional artillery systems and 5 Arthur Systems (Artillery Radar),” he wrote.
Yonson recalled that the previous Sweden gave the Ukraine eight archer systems.
“They are appreciated and worked well in front, which is harmful to Russian conquerors.
As for the Arthur Systems, Yonson said the previous system was also sent to Ukraine through the joint efforts of Sweden and Great Britain. These radars help to identify artillery shells and calculate the area of their origin.
“According to open resources, Russia has lost more than 437 towed artillery units, 869 self -propelled guns and 451 reactive Salivary Fire System (MLR). I hope this Swedish artillery complex will increase these numbers,” the minister said.
Yonson also assured that Sweden would enter the artillery coalition to coordinate and ensure Ukraine defense forces with modern artillery, ammunition and training systems.
“The long -term goal is to strengthen the potential of Ukraine artillery and increase the compatibility of NATO operation,” the minister was completed.

Remember that by the end of January, Sweden announced the transfer of the greatest military assistance package to Ukraine since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia. Its cost reaches 13.5 billion Swedish crowns – about $ 1.3 billion.
And it is now known that Sweden will provide Ukraine for about $ 140 million for recovery. We’re talking about a package, which is the largest Sweden civil care program in Sweden history.
