The American aerospace company Maxar Technologies restores the accounts of Ukrainian users Global Enhanced Geoint Delivery (GeGD), which provides access to commercial satellite images that were assigned and collected by the US government.
This was announced today, March 12, in the morning of a militarist with reference to several users of the service.
Earlier, the US government temporarily suspended Ukrainian GEGD accounts. The official excuse that Ukrainian users received from the Maxara administration were “on an administrative request”.
In fact, the stop was the result of the ban on the Government of the United States on the provision of intelligence data in Ukraine, the publication notes. – That is, the presidential administration of Donald Trump banned the provision of American companies and commercial services through the State Department for Ukrainian companies and commercial services.
Yesterday, March 11, negotiations between delegations from Ukraine and the United States were held in Saudi Arabia, which led to the fact that Ukraine provided investigated and military assistance.
It is noted that at present there are no official comments from Maxar Technologies, but users have already begun access to access.
