EU leaders and European countries have accepted a step toward the fair world in Ukraine and remember that the ball is on the Russian side.
The European Union has accepted the ceasefire agreement and continuation of military assistance in the United States and the exchange of intelligence in Ukraine. The statement was made by European Commission chairman Ursula Von der Lyain and the Chairman of the European Council Antoniu Coshta.
“This is a positive event that can be a step toward a comprehensive, fair and powerful world for Ukraine,” they said, adding that the EU is ready to play in future peace negotiations.
European Parliament Chairman Robert Mecola wrote to X that the agreement was “an important success and step on the way to the stable world where we all worked.”
EU Foreign Ministry leader Kai Callas, said the block will do “all its parts” to ensure peace in Ukraine. Like the other leaders, Kallas wrote to X that “the ball, as usual, was on the Russian side.”
The leaders of European countries also responded to the agreements of the Ukrainian and American delegations in Saudi Arabia.
Thus, British Prime Minister Cyrus Starmer accepted the agreement. “This is an important point for the world in Ukraine, and now we need to double our efforts to achieve a strong and reliable world soon,” he said.
French president Emmanuel Macron said the responsibility for stopping is in Russia, and France and its partners are still focused on a strong world, supported by security guarantees for Ukraine.
The head of the government of Poland Donald Tusk also accepted this news. “It seems that Americans and Ukrainians have taken an important step toward the world,” he wrote on Social Network X., “and Europe is ready to help achieve a fair and powerful world.”
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Scheof has mentioned that the agreement “could mean a significant first step toward the sustainable world. He is pleased to hear that US help in Ukraine may continue as soon as possible.”
Czech Republic’s Foreign Affairs Minister Jan Lipavsky, wrote to X: “Diplomacy matters. Today, an important step has been taken to JIDD in both fair worlds and to ensure its durability and prevent further invasion. It is not as important as the Ukrainians.”
Sweden Maria Stanergard’s Foreign Affairs minister of Foreign Affairs accepted this news, adding that “Sweden will continue to strengthen its support from Ukraine.”
External Estonia Minister Margus Tsakhkna wrote that negotiations on Tuesday were “an important step toward the fair and powerful world in Ukraine. The responsibility lies in Russia.”
Remember that Ukraine has expressed the willingness to accept the US proposal for the immediate introduction of a temporary, 30-day ceasefire, subject to the adoption and simultaneous fulfillment of Russia. State secretary Marco Rubio said Washington intends to apply for this proposal on the Russian side.
