Hungary plans to hold a referendum in the future membership of Ukraine in the European Union.

The Poland Foreign Ministry responded to Viktor Orban’s proposal to hold a referendum in Ukraine in Ukraine in Hungary in the European Union. As Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorsky wrote on Saturday, March 8, the said vote could be held not only about Ukraine.

In particular, he noted that such a survey could be conducted for other EU countries and asked their inhabitants to “become” Hungary Orban “an entire European Union member.”

“Hungary aims to hold a referendum in the future membership of Ukraine in the European Union. Then it would be interesting for me to see the referendum results in the European Union regarding Hungary Orban membership,” Sikorsky wrote.

The Hungarian referendum in the European Union took place on April 12, 2003. With a turnout of 45.59%, most of the voting of Hungarians (more than 80%) spoke for hungary entry into the European Union. On May 1, 2004, considering the results of the Hungary referendum, he officially joined the EU.

Remember that on the eve of March 7, Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban decided to organize a vote in his country to support Ukraine’s entry into the European Union. We talk about the so -called referendum which will be asked the opinions of the Hungarians who have a voice right.
