The Russian agency tried to deactivate three regions of Ukraine.
SBU counterintelligence officers detained two agents of the Main Department of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, who worked in the regions of KIV, Chernihiv and Sumi. Attackers prepared a series of air attacks for electricity with a high level of shape to deactivate some northern regions. The press center of the Security Service of Ukraine announced this on March 6.
Law enforcement officers found that the partners of the invaders went to the ground and recorded the geolocation of potential goals. Russian agents planned to help the Russians bypass the Ukrainian air defense. To do this, they wanted to identify and transfer the coordinates of the radar stations of the Armed Forces to the invaders.
She had already detained the attackers to the addresses of the residence in Kyiv. The 27-year-old assistant to the lawyer of the local law firm and the 25-year-old unemployed were traitors. The invaders recruited them through telegrams.
The enemy agents took place about three regions to identify and photograph the right goals. They coordinated all their actions with Russian special services. Evidence of cooperation with the enemy was found during searches.
The detainees have already been informed of suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 111 (state betrayal committed in conditions of martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They are threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
We recall that the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police prevented four terrorist acts and sabotage, which the Russian Federation planned on March 1-2. Russian agents were detained in Lviv, Chernihiv, Vinnits and in the Kiev region.
