“At about 15:20, several tail cars of a freight train derailed in the Uzlovaya-3-Zhdanka section in the Tula region,” the statement said.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the vehicles carry fuel.
“The wagons did not tip over, there was no fuel spillage,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Tula Region specified.
One person is known to have died in the crash.

According to Telegram channel Baza, the vehicles derailed when a man boarded the train and stole metal from the cars, eventually one of the pieces of metal fell on the railroad and fell under the wheels of train, which resulted in an accident.
