A budget distribution of 150 million US dollars 28.7 thousand was transferred to the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine for a new budget program, ”writes the government representative in Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
Currently, the details of the program remain unknown, but at the end of January 2025, the Minister of National Unity Chernishov said that Ukraine would create unity centers for its citizens abroad.
These centers will be the first to appear in the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany in the countries in which the most Ukrainian refugees live. Institutions will be intended to support Ukrainians abroad and help them maintain their national identity.
What does the program include?
No mandatory returns – said the Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernishov previously emphasized.
Abroad will create “unity centers” that will help Ukrainians support national identity.
The main goal is to encourage Ukrainians to return to support and create favorable conditions for reintegration.
The government emphasizes that the program is aimed not only in return, but also to support Ukrainian communities abroad, strengthening communications with their homeland and creating opportunities for those who are ready to return.
