The group of five – Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Poland – confirmed unnoticed political and military support of our country.
German’s defense minister Boris Pistorius gathered a virtual conference of defense ministers of five European NATO countries, where they confirmed unchanged political and military support of Ukraine. MDR reported it.
Pistorius led the So -called “Group of Five”: Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Poland. Ministers and their representatives have agreed to further develop the security policy.
“All came to a united agreement that Ukraine could still rely on the broad support of the Big Five,” the German Ministry of Defense said after the meeting.
The video conference took place after a scandal appeared at a meeting of US President Donald Trump with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in Washington.
The next “group of five” in the format of defense ministers is set to be March 12 in Paris.
Remember that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte named the three main points of Ukraine’s security leaders in London: Continuing support, peace agreement, strong NATO.
Great Britain and France will work with Ukraine to create a peaceful plan, which will then be presented to the United States.
