US President Donald Trump announced the application of sanctions next year on sanctions against Russia next year through an invasion of Ukraine.

Thus, Trump’s decree continues during the year, an emergency related to the situation in Ukraine, which was declared after the start of Russian aggression in 2014 and provides for sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation:
- in March and December 2014;
- in September 2018;
- In February 2022.
The introduction of sanctions against the Russian Federation for aggression in Ukraine indicated the Decree of the President of Barack Obama No. 13660, which was published on March 6, 2014 and provided for freezing property of a number of persons related to the occupation of Crimea.
