The total maximum cost of detained grants is about 57 billion dollars.

US president administration Donald Trump has stopped more than 90% of the aid from foreign states of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). CNN reported this on Thursday, February 27th.

“The total of about 5800 USAID grants have not been stopped, and more than 500 USAID grants have been restrained. The total maximum cost of restraints is nearly $ 57 billion,” said the Trump administration.

The document also states that in addition to the termination of USAID grants, approximately 4,100 state grants stopped and nearly 2700 state grants were preserved.

There are 297 more contracts left, which must be evaluated, mentioned in Trump.

Earlier, the Trump administration sent most USAID employees on vacation, or fired it.

Remember, on January 20, Trump signed a command to suspend 90 days of all external programs prior to inspections to determine if they match its political purposes. USAID in Ukraine has received an order to stop all projects and costs to them.

The White House then published a list of losses and abuse in USAID.
