“Russia continues to express the intent to fully occupy the regions of zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Lugansk and Kherson. However, big cities, such as zaporozhye (706 thousand people), Kherson (275 thousand) and Kramatorsk (147 thousand) remain under the control of Ukraine,” said the report. “
The ISW analysts note that if the invaders could establish control of these cities, it would lead to a major disaster disaster.
Russia can apply the same methods of subjugation, deportations and assimilations it already uses in temporary covered territories.
