Partner countries will allocate 700 million euros to Ukraine to equip.
These funds will be provided by 2034. Funding for the procurement of equipment for mitigating Ukraine was discussed at the 11th meeting of the Vilnius Coalition -Supply in the framework of Lithuania and Iceland. It was attended by 40 officials from 15 countries. This was reported on February 26 by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Ruslan Beregul at the meeting, the head of the chief directorate for the activities of mines, civil protection and environmental safety, said that over the last quarter of 2024, materials and technical means were purchased for 16.1 million euros.
The budget for 2025 for the purchase of equipment for reducing Ukraine is 130 million euros. At the moment, the Central Agency for Project Management (SRMA, Republic of Lithuania) has already accumulated 51 million euros.
