Two scientists confess to attack the Russian Consulate at Marseille

Arrested in suspicion of attacking Russia’s Consulate General in Marseille, two employees of the National Center for Scientific Research admitted the work. BFM reported this on Wednesday, February 26th.

It is noted that the engineer and chemist are in police custody. Both were arrested during a rally in support of Ukraine on February 25. They were recognized by the recording of surveillance cameras.

During the investigation, detainees explained that in plastic bottles they had thrown into the Russian consulate garden, there was a mixture of nitrogen and other chemicals.

According to police, attacks use three half -liter plastic gas bottles. Two of them exploded, causing an explosion.

Remember, on February 24, on the third anniversary of the entire Russian invasion of Russia in Ukraine in Marseille, the Russian Federation consulate was attacked by Molotov’s cocktails.

The next day, during the campaign in support of Ukraine, two men were confined to suspicion of attacking the Russian consulate.
