According to the new study of the Munich Institute of Economic Policy. Libniz, migrants and refugees do not have a greater tendency to commit crimes than Germans. Instead, the institute noted that migrants are often visited in large cities where more entertainment and nightlife. This means that the overall crime rate is higher, also among the Germans. Such areas increase the risk of becoming criminals for all residents, regardless of citizenship, security level, police or population density. The study was based on crime statistics from 2018 to 2023 with specific places.
At the same time, the researchers noted that it is easier to gain access to Germany citizenship and help finding work to reduce crimes for migrants.
It should be recalled that all political parties, which claimed that the Bundestag in the elections in 2025 had changes in their programs. This, in particular, is registered in the CDS-HSC block program, which will form the coalition and the German government based on the voting results of February 23.
