At the UN General Assembly, Serbia mistakenly supported the European resolution on condemning the Russian Federation to invade Ukraine.
This was announced by President Serbia Vucich, explaining that he was tired, so he did not correspond to the resolution prepared by Ukraine and its European allies, as it should: “I think that Serbia made mistakes today. I apologize to Serbia citizens for this and took the blame for it.
As for the American resolution (where the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine is called the “conflict” without condemning the actions of Russia), as Alexander Vuchich says, Serbia voted exactly as it should be abstained. As for the European resolution, Serbia should also refrain, added Vucic.
The press secretary of Putin Peskov says that the Kremlin apologized to President Serbia for delegates, who allegedly “by mistake” voted to the UN for the anti -Russian decision against Ukraine. Nevertheless, Vyuchich did not apologize to the Russian Federation.
The Kremlin stated that they “apologized” in Vyucich for delegates, who allegedly “mistakenly” voted to the UN for the anti -Russian resolution against Ukraine.
On Monday, the UN General Assembly approved 93 votes condemning Russian aggression initiated by Ukraine and European partners.
