According to him, it is necessary to put negotiations between both Ukraine and Russia. The Americans have already met with delegates from Russia, and the main problem of this meeting was: “Are you interested in stopping this conflict or not?”

Rubio also noted that at a meeting of the General Assembly of the United States, the UN resolution, which condemned Russia for the war in Ukraine, voted. The official explained that this resolution was “antagonistic” and contradicted the efforts to put both sides at the negotiation table and put an end to the war.
The State Secretary emphasized that President Donald Trump “clearly realized that he wanted to end the war,” because “too many people died, and he wants to put this land.”
