The Government of Canada today, February 24, on the third anniversary of the full Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, announced the new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.

New sanctions will be covered:
- 76 people and legal entities in Russia and abroad, which help the Kremlin’s military and industrial base and are responsible for cooperation with the DPRK;
- 109 ships of the so -called “shadow fleet of Russia”.
The list of sanctions, in particular, received:
- Russian troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection (RCBZ);
- Air and space forces of the Russian Federation;
- Command of military transport aviation of the Russian Federation;
- Akhma Kadirov Foundation;
- Artek International Children’s Center.
Among the persons for whom Canada imposed sanctions:
- Serbian singer Sandra Leig (wife of the Russian oligarch Andrei Melnichenko);
- Journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Pozner;
- President of the Elena Vyalbe ski Federation;
- Governor of the territory of the premorsky Oleg Kozhemeyako;
- Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsiper;
- Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsilieva;
- The head of the Institute for the Development of the Internet Alex Goren.
