Right -“Alternative for Germany” (ADN) has achieved amazing success in the elections on the eastern federal lands.
In Turing, the party received almost 40% of the vote, in Saxony – 37.3%. In Saxony-Enhlt ADN received 37.1%, 32.5%in Brandenburg and 35%in Mecklenburg. East Germany on the map of the vote distribution became blue, which symbolizes the support of this party.
Strengthening the positions of ADN is especially noticeable, and instead the weak results of traditional parties. In the same lands and SDPN CDU, less than 20% were estimated, and the greens showed catastrophically low results, up to 4% in Saxony.
In Berlin, the situation was different: here ADN received 15.2%, and its support is much higher in the eastern regions of the city. Thus, in Martzan-Shellerff Adg scored 30.9%, which made it the strongest side in the district.
In Germany, the West is very different: CDD, SDPN and green dominate here. Berlin remains divided: in the eastern areas, such as Treptova-Kapenik, ADN almost caught up with the Social Democrats (21.5% versus 21.6%), while in the Western regions, for example, in Charlotenburg-Uilmersorf, his support made up Only 8,. 9%.
Recall that Friedrich Merz and his party CDS/CSU won a convincing victory in the elections, receiving 28.6% of the vote. Nevertheless, the formation of the coalition remained in doubt late at night. The decisive were 14,000 votes that did not allow the Union of Sarah Wagenknecht to overcome five percent of the barrier.
This opened the way for a bicoparty coalition with SPD without a alliance with green, which CDU wanted to avoid.
