Poland President Andrzej Duda met on Saturday, February 22 with US President Donald Trump and told him about his vision of the war in Ukraine. He announced this after a meeting with Trump in the air of the Polish Republic’s television channel.
“I told him my perspective and how I checked the companions it would need to arrange, so that the President (Trump – Ed.) Remember that the leader of Russia is a KGB officer,” Duda said.
He emphasized that this should not be allowed that Russia won the war with Ukraine. Duda noted that Trump in a conversation with him said “he should arrange, because he clearly sees that he is the only leader in the world who can do this.”
“He repeated to me many times he had to settle down. This war must end so that people would stop dying, so that Ukraine could return to a normal life.
The President of Poland also noted that Trump announced plans to visit Poland for the next few months.
According to Duda, Trump also assured him that he did not intend to reduce the US military in Poland, but on the contrary, he could add it.
Earlier, Duda, in a conversation with special US representative Keit Kelllog, noted that the war in Ukraine would not end with Russia’s victory, and it would require a “decisive policy” by US President that Donald Trump.
