The attacker, who, according to Russian special services, set fire to the entrance door of the apartments where Ukrainian military lives in Volyn.

It is noted that the detainee is a 38-year-old resident of one of the villages of Latka District, who had previously served a prison period for a crime for drugs, and after the “stay”, cooperation with FSB was received:
- Representatives of Russian special services were associated with a person in Telegram Messenger and offered cooperation in exchange for cash;
- The resident Volon agreed to fulfill the tasks of “curators” to create places of residence of the armed forces and damage to their property, as well as the search and conduct of intelligence in places of basic cellular communication stations and energy infrastructure facilities for their further violation.
- In January 2025, he received from a hostile special service a task for $ 500 in the form of cryptocurrency to burn one of the basic cellular stations in the Lutsk region:
- Over the morning of January 15, 2025, the man entered the fenced square of the station, damaged the equipment cables, its external protection, flooding the ignited substance in the middle of the cabinet and set fire to it. He recorded his actions in photographs and videos with a mobile phone;
- On the same day, he was detained by law enforcement agencies. The court chose him a preliminary measure of detention without a bail.
In addition, in the Kyiv region, three residents of the Obukhiv district at the age of 17 and 19, who set fire to the building of one of the village councils in the Fastiv region were detained.
To commit crimes, people defeated the window in the institution, and then resulted in a flammable mixture room and caused fire.
During the searches, the detainees discovered arson and mobile phones with evidence of subversive activities in the interests of the Russian Federation.
Persons reported suspicion in accordance with crimes committed in accordance with four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of art. 113 (sabotage committed in martial law);
- Part 2 of art. 111 (treason committed in martial law);
- Part 2 of art. 360 (deliberate damage or destruction of the telecommunication network);
- Part 2 of art. 194 (deliberate destruction or damage to the property of another, committed by arson).
The attackers are in custody. They are threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
