“We must act now to support Ukraine and strengthen Europe’s security.

The Lithuanian President noted that Ukraine’s support provides:

  • Real security guarantee for Ukraine – NATO membership must remain in the “table”;

  • Russia should be held responsible for war crimes, and penalties must be continued until the attack ceases;

  • Urgent financing for the manufacture of weapons and 10 billion euros for the Ukraine defense industry;

  • The seizure of the frozen property of Russia and the introduction of tariffs for Russian/Belarusian imports;

  • The accelerated entry of Ukraine into the EU – until 2030.

Naubeda emphasized that Ukraine’s safety is part of Europe’s security.

Remember that earlier Lithuania was announced by the new aid to Ukraine for $ 80 million.
