The new rating of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was published by sociologists.
The Kiev International Institute of Sociology published this rating immediately after US President Donald Trump said that Zelensky’s rating in Ukraine fell to 4%. Kiis published data for February on his own website on Wednesday, February 19.
According to these results, 57% of Ukrainians trust Zelensky, they do not trust – 37%. The balance of trust is +20%. Most of all, the president is trusted in the central regions and in the West.
According to sociologists, confidence in the head of state has improved somewhat compared to the last survey in December: then Zelenski trusted 52%, did not trust – 39%.
The survey was conducted from February 4 to February 9 by telephone interviews based on a random sample of mobile numbers. 1000 respondents at the age of 18 were interviewed who live in Ukraine, which is controlled by the Ukrainian government. In the study of public opinion, residents of the occupied territories, as well as those who went abroad after February 24, 2022, did not participate.
The statistical error of such a sample did not exceed 4.1% for indicators close to 50%, 3.5% for indicators close to 25%, 2.5% for indicators close to 10%, 1.8% for indicators for indicators close to 5%.
At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with ARD said that Russia is striving to get rid of him because he is “inconvenient” for Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Zelensky also added that information about 4% of trust leaves Russia.
We understand this, and we have evidence that these figures are discussed between America and Russia, ”he said.
Recall that President Donald Trump said that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has only a 4% assessment of people’s support, so the elections should be held. Trump also emphasized that in the elections in Ukraine is not “Russian”, but “comes from it and many other countries”.
