Slovak police said the procedure for expulsion was previously suspended, as the man had submitted a petition for asylum.
On February 18, Slovak policeman dismissed a citizen of Ukraine who was accused of participating in the preparation of a coup. This is stated in a police report, published on Facebook.
Law enforcement officials say the investigation claims to have established the Ukrainian involvement “in the organized criminal activity and his relationship with organized crime in Ukraine and its special services.”
“At the same time, a person is forbidden to enter the territory of the Slovak Republic and the territory of all EU member states for two years,” they added there.
Although Slovak police did not specify which Ukrainians were being talked about, they mentioned that the procedure for his expulsion was previously suspended, as the man had submitted a petition for asylum.
Earlier we wrote that in Slovakia they had stopped a Ukrainian for allegedly “a coup threat.” A citizen of Ukraine faces a deportation.
