The European Union is preparing a military assistance package in Ukraine for 6 billion euros.

Thus, the European Union wants to strengthen the strategic position of Kyiv at the beginning of negotiations with Russia headed by the United States.
The package should contain everything: from 1.5 million artillery shells to air defense systems. It can be declared before the third anniversary of a full -fledged war.
Some European diplomats say that 6 billion euros are the initial cost of the package, it can increase to 10 billion euros or even more.
We recall that the EU leadership and the leaders of some countries on February 17 conducted an informal summit in Paris. On February 19, France convened such a meeting. The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Lien, together with European commissars, plans to come to Kyiv on February 24.
