President Vladimir Zelensky said that in 2025, Russia was preparing to strengthen its military existence in the direction of Belarus. For this, it was planned to form 15 divisions of 100 to 150 thousand military. The head of the state of Ukraine announced this during a conversation with journalists in Munich on Friday, February 14th.

Not yet than this year, Russia will prepare 15 divisions for training and strengthening the situation in the direction of Belarus. Earlier it was learned that Putin submitted to the State of Duma a bill in adopting an agreement signed in December 2024 with Belarus on security guarantees within the Union state. Belarus, according to the contract, “provides permission” for the placement of Russian military bases and units in its territory.
