There can be no accident when the rocket hit right here. Initially, the Russian special forces stormed the ATR in the Crimea, then the channel was forced to leave the peninsula, ”said Mazhabayev. – It was financed by Ukraine, but later this support was stopped. And now we were simply destroyed physically.
The enemies interfere with the independent television of the indigenous peoples of Crimea, and they decided to eliminate it, ”he added.
ATR began broadcasting on September 1, 2006 in Simferopol. After the occupation of Crimea, the TV channel was faced with pressure from the Russian invaders and was forced to stop speech in Crimea on April 1, 2015. The leadership decided to save the channel, transfer it to mainland Ukraine. Since June 17, 2015, the channel was broadcast from Kyiv.
