On behalf of the Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia, unknown people spread false information about the forced enlistment of local Hungarians in the army.

Unknown people sent fake letters to the media about the alleged forced mobilization of local Hungarians in the Transcarpathian region.

This is reported by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security Council (NSDC) of Ukraine on its Telegram channel.

They were sent on behalf of the Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia (OVKZ). In particular, the forged letters state that the Hungarian government planned to provide material assistance to the alleged “Forcibly mobilized Transcarpathian Hungarians in the Ukrainian army.”

OVKZ denied the information after some time.

“The provocative information was sent from an e-mail similar to the Company’s official e-mail, but registered with a different domain name,” OVKZ said.

Recall that in Donetsk they held a rally against forced mobilization.

It was also reported that the occupiers in Mariupol found a new way of covert mobilization. Advertisements about “work on the security structure” appeared in the city.
