Transnistria, under the pressure of Moscow, refused to accept the proposed EU for 60 million euros to overcome the energy crisis.
This was declared Prime Minister Moldova Dorin.
He said that a refusal to European assistance to the SO management of SO -Dressed PMR explained the requirements for its position. I myself am convinced that the reason is different:
Russia does not allow them to accept European assistance, fearing loss of control over the region. The state of the dream [ЄС]Tygrazpol refused – a gradual increase in tariffs for consumers. As a result, they cannot receive European help. This means that residents of Transnistria will continue to live in a state of unpredictability.
At the same time, he assured that Chisinau would not leave the region for the same and would not block the gas supply.
According to him, supplies will be provided by the Hungarian Met Gas and Energy Marketing AG, which will receive funds from Dubai JNX General Trading.
Russian media previously wrote that de -facts was about money from the Russian Federation.
Both companies were checked and will supply gas to the Moldovan border on a contract with Moldavagaz. We will allow transit, and the Tirapol should take steps that will confirm openness – the liberation of political prisoners who solve the school problem in a fisherman, preserving the Moldova public broadcaster 1, dismantling the checkpoint installed in 2022, ”the Prime Minister said.
And added:
This is not an agreement between the Government of Moldova and Russia – this is a decision that people on the left bank do not freeze. We will continue to make rational and responsible decisions to maintain peace and understands throughout the country.
Earlier, the EU promised Moldova in 2025 250 million euros for energy assistance, of which 60 million euros – Transnistria.
The strategy has a double goal: to separate Moldova from unstable Russian energy supplies and completely integrate it into the European Union’s energy market. 100 million euros were supposed to come by mid -April.
As the Prime Minister of Moldova explained, Transnistria will receive 60 million euros in accordance with the following conditions:
- If he discusses and coordinates with Chisinaau by means of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in the region;
- Gradually bring tariffs in the region to market prices;
- Large exporters of the left bank will pay for energy at market prices; The energy industry will be excluded from the support program.
In addition, EU funds can be used to “supply electricity from the left bank to the right bank” of Moldova. Earlier, the Prime Minister said that the country’s government will provide an unrecognized transnnostria in the amount of 3 million cubic meters of gas necessary to maintain pressure in the system.
