Not far from the Greek island of Samos in the Aegean Sea, a helicopter crashed, taking part in extinguishing a forest fire. This was reported by Protothema.
It was noticed that the Mi-8 helicopter flew from the island of Samos on July 13 at 16:39. The accident occurred at 17:55, when the helicopter was riding in sea water.
According to preliminary information, strong winds caused the crash.
There were four people on board: two Moldovan citizens, a Romanian citizen and a Greek citizen.
