In Germany, the mass protests against Ultra -right

In many German cities on Saturday, February 8, mass protests were held against extremism and political cooperation along with the Alternative for Germany (AFD) Ultra -right Party, reports DW.

It is mentioned that demonstrators, in particular, went through a march for “difference -different, human dignity, unity and democracy” in Terezienvis territory in the middle of Munich, where the famous Octoberfest world takes place with every Fall. They brought posters with the slogan “You need democracy!”

According to police, more than 200 thousand people took part in the action. At the same time, organizers announced 320 thousand participants.

Mass actions against right -wing extremism occurred in other German cities. According to police, nearly 24 thousand people took part in a rally in the middle of Hanover. After the national draft of OMAS Gegen Rechts (“grandmothers against right”), the protests were announced in many other cities of lower saxony.

Also, at least 25 thousand people gathered in Domshof Square in the middle of Bremen. Nearly 3 thousand people rode the streets of rostok under the slogan “Everything against fascism is a bud together!” In this city, the organization of the victims of the Nazi regime – the Anti -Fascist League – called for demonstration.

German elections are scheduled for February 23.

Remember that protests against AFD in Germany have been taking over a month. Their participants are afraid that after the AFD election will receive a greater impact on German policy.
