Russia and the DPRK have reached an agreement according to which North Korea receives technical assistance from the Russian Federation in the development of several types of drones that will be carried out since 2025.
The likely consent occurred against the background of strengthening the military ties between Moscow and Phonyan. Last year, they signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement.
Several sources, familiar with Russian and sulfurial relations of Corren, said that NHK, that the agreement on the development of drones was a response to the deployment of North Korea soldiers to help the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine.
At the same time, NHK interlocutors claim that Russia does not want to promote the DPRK in the development of a nuclear program, as in Moscow they are afraid that it can harm North Korea and China.
NHK recalls that in November 2024, the leader of CRK Kim Jong-in was present in the tests of the drone-kimkadze and ordered the beginning of the mass production of such weapons.
According to Western special services and Ukraine, North Korea sent more than 10,000 military personnel who participated in the Armed Forces in Kursk, in Russia.
Western Springs argue that the North Korean troops suffered significant losses and were withdrawn from the war zone for some time. However, on Friday, February 7, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the DPRK forces were again sent to the Kursk region.
