In order, the Government of South Africa was accused of seizing the “agricultural property of ethnic minorities of Africans without compensation” and the introduction of “countless state policy aimed at eliminating equal opportunities” in the areas of employment, education and business.
The reason for this decision was a recent law that allows the expropriation of land without compensation in rare cases. They say that South Africa is aimed at overcoming the inequality that remained after the apartheid, when the South Africans with the skin of blacks were forbidden to own land for decades.
According to the country’s audit, the white South Africans (8% of the population) have approximately ¾ agricultural lands of the country, while South Africans from blacks (80% of the population) have only 4%.
