Former Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party, Jack Lopes gave the first interview “Independent” after he went to a volunteer to serve in the Ukrainian army
The 55-year-old politician voluntarily joined the international legion of the Armed Forces.
Lostya came to Ukraine as a deputy and was supported in parliament to provide greater assistance to Kyiv. However, after the defeat of the conservative party in the elections in July 2024, he lost his place in parliament.
After that, he decided to join the Ukrainian army.
Currently, not on the front, but performs auxiliary work. He is responsible for diplomacy, purchase of weapons, as well as for some work with veterans and charitable organizations working in Ukraine.
He said to the independent:
I live in Kyiv, but I constantly travel in Ukraine. Last week, he visited the cities of Harkiv and Poltava in the east of the country.
The Lord said that the Ukrainians were still very ready for the fight, almost three years after Putin began his invasion on February 24, 2022.
