    Great Britain will provide Ukraine with 2 billion pounds for the purchase of air defense systems and missiles.

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the bill on the ratification of the framework agreement between Ukraine and the UK to support the development of protective capabilities. This draft law will be submitted to Verkhovna Rada. Prime Minister Denis Schmigal announced this on January 31 on Telegram.

    According to the head of the government, this agreement provides that London will allocate 2 billion pounds for Kyiv for the purchase of air defense systems, missiles for air defense, as well as for organizing repair bases for military equipment and other weapons. Such Remobases will be equipped in Ukraine.

    In addition, according to Schmigal, these British billions significantly increase the defense of Ukraine.
