The DPRK troops were removed from the front line in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
North Korean troops suffered heavy losses in battles with the defense forces of Ukraine. Kim Chon -soldiers were not seen at the front for almost two weeks. This was reported by New York Times with reference to anonymous sources.
It is noted that Pyongyang sent almost 11,000 soldiers to Russia. However, as previously indicated the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Sirski, in three months of battles, the number of these forces was halved.
According to the Ukrainian military, the DPRK soldiers are cruel warriors, but they suffered significant losses from disorganization and lack of cohesion with Russian units. These military move with a small amount of armored vehicles and rarely stop to regroup or retreat.
US officials informed reporters that the decision to cancel the DPRK troops from the front may change. It is possible that the soldiers of North Korea can return to the battlefield after additional preparation or after the Russians find new deployment methods to avoid such heavy losses.
We recall that recently the New York Times said that North Korea plans to send additional military to Russia over the next two months. North Korean troops in Kurshkin actually act as a separate combat force – different in language, training and military culture.
