Members of the Budget Committee from the CDS and SDPG have noted that the budget has sufficient funding for this request.
The German Parliament Budget Committee called on the Yorga Kukis Minister to approve further military assistance in Ukraine for 3 billion euros. Reuters reported it.
The request was approved by opposition votes of the Christian Democratic Union (CDS) and Free Democrats (SDP), while representatives of the ruling coalition-the social-democratic party (SDPG) and green supported from voting.
As you know, the committee may not decide further assistance to Ukraine without approved by the financial minister, but in practice the ministry usually satisfied the requests approved by the committee.
Members of the Budget Committee from the CDS and SDPG have noted that the budget has sufficient funding for this request. Chancellor Olaf Sholts also promotes additional military assistance, but still asserted that it could be funded only except for the “Brake debt” regime to resolve further borrowing.
Remember that the German government on January 14 was updating the military aid list transferred to Ukraine, confirming the provision of thousands of artillery and drone shells.
