In Russia, grain exports to 42% have collapsed

Wheat supplies can be reduced to 41-42 million tons, the President of the Herald Arkady Zlochevsky said at a press conference, Rossmi reports. This means dropping more than 16 million tons (28%) against last year.

Rossmi’s note that the reduction in exports is directly related to a reduction in the yield that suffered due to adverse weather conditions and the decision of Russian authorities to inhibit seed imports.

During the previous agricultural year, the total grain collection in Russia fell 14%, up to 125 million tons, and wheat harvest was reduced by 16%, to 82 million tons. At the same time, nearly 10 million tons of wheat are decaying only in the barn due to the lack of proper storage facilities.

Remember that from the beginning of 2024, Russian conquerors lasted nearly 500 thousand tons of grains from the temporary occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhya region, and plans to steal at least 200 thousand tons. ton.
