Italy’s Parliament expanded the supply of weapons in Ukraine

Italy has helped Ukraine since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russian invaders. Italian authorities have expanded permission for providing military assistance to Ukraine several times.

On January 28, the Lower House of the Parliament of Italy finally approved a command against Ukraine, allowing the expansion of the supply of weapons to Kyiv until December 31, 2025.

The corresponding document was received by 192 deputy, 41 parliamentaries spoke “against”. Earlier, the Senate (Upper Chamber) also made this decision.

During the vote, the opposition was divided: the left centric democratic party (PD) and the penny parties Italia Viva (IV) and Azione voted “for”, while the 5-SAR (M5S m5s ) and the alliance of green and left (AVS) spoke “against”.

Remember that the Italy government supported the expansion of permission to supply Ukraine with military assistance. In the future, the approval of parliament is expected.

Italy Prime Minister Georgia Malony said the EU should solve security problems complete, given new challenges related to the Russian Federation.
