The court approved an agreement between the former head of Brovarsky RVA Volodymyr Maybozhenko, which in April 2024 hit four pedestrians and victims.
According to the agreement, Maibozhnko will pay 34 thousand pounds. This was announced today, January 27, said the press service of the Prosecutor General.
The verdict of the Bravirsky city court today, January 27, 2025, decided to approve the agreement on reconciliation with the victims, according to which the expression will be punished in the form of a fine of 34,000 pounds with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles within 3 years.
The Department emphasizes that the prosecutor objected to the completion of this Agreement:
- The prosecutor substantiated his position with the inconsistency of the provisions of the agreement with the interests of the company and the requirements of the Criminal Code;
- At the same time, the court refused the prosecutor to study during the trial, which indicates the absence of mitigating circumstances in the form of active assistance in disclosing a criminal offense to the accused.
Currently, the appeal is being prepared for the specified verdict, – the Office of the Prosecutor General noted.
We recall that on April 26, 2024, Maibozhenko made a pedestrian in a drunken state. The next day, he was released from the RVA Head post.
