The National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine recorded a trial at the request of the Center for Combating Corruption to commit a crime of the Minister of Defense Rastima Umarov.
This was reported today, January 27, reports in the Telegram CPC channel.
In the actions of the minister, a crime can be accepted in the framework of the second part of art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or office), declared in the CPC.
It should be noted that on January 24, the Minister of Defense refused to comply with the decisions of the observed council of the Defense Procurement Agency (AOP) on the continuation of the contract with the director of AOP Marina Bezruk for another year. Umarov also fired two members of the supervisory council who voted for this decision – Taras and Yuri Dzhigir.
CPC believes that Umarov acted contrary to the law.
We are convinced that these actions should be liable, and NABU must carefully check the motives and consequences of the minister’s decisions, ”CPC summed up.
