As a result of a repeated attack yesterday in Ryazan oil refinery in Russia, the main unit of AVT-4 oil purification unit burned. This was reported by the Astra Telegram channel on Monday, January 27.
According to information, on January 26 pm, as a result of repeated attacks on the Ryazan Oil Refining Company, a fire occurred. It was learned that the facility was attacked by at least 18 drones, three of which hit the facility. AVT-4 installation is burnt-a tool in which fuel distillates, kerosene, diesel fuel and fuel oil are extracted from oil.
The AVT-4 installation was attacked on March 13, 2024, after which its operation was stopped for two weeks and then continued to 60% of the capacity.
In addition, as a result of yesterday’s attack, other enterprise units were also damaged, including units for cleaning disconnects and condensate, as well as boo unit, which converts evacuated gas oil to a high quality. The sulfur removal plant was also damaged.
It is noted that the facility is generally attacked twice in two days.
